  • Dsposal is a web-based application that works in most web browsers, which means you don't need to download or install any software on your computer. To be sure Dsposal works properly your web browser needs to meet our requirements.
  • While you can use Dsposal for free you have to have to register for an account to claim a waste site profile.
  • Free users can claim 1 waste site profile. This waste site profile will have limited functionality. Any additional claims will incur a subscription charge.
  • Upgrading to a Full Profile unlocks additional functionality.

By searching for your waste site's post code on Dsposal you'll be able to locate your unclaimed site profile.  By requesting to claim the profile and verifying your site you can add additional information and make it easier for future customers to find you.

Complete Your Profile

After the waste site has been claimed you need to make it easier for your customers to find you and know about what you do.  By editing your profile you can:

  • Upload your logo
  • Add site and company details
  • Add site services

Uploading Your Licence Documents

Step 1) From “Licences, Insurances and Certificates” locate the licence in the site and press “Edit”.
Step 2) To upload the licence click the box or drop the file into the upload box. The information below is not editable and is retrieved from the Environment Agency Public Registers Database.
Step 3) For Operations Licences and/or Installations Licences press add activity table.
Step 4) Complete the Activity Tables based on the information from the permit from the Environment Agency. Enter in the separate EWC Codes for each activity table. These tables help customers find the right waste for their waste. These entries are linked to the Dsposal Waste Thesaurus and are indexed against each site profile.

Uploading Your Insurance Documents

Step 1) From “Licences, Insurances and Certificates” press the “Add insurance” button.
Step 2) To upload the insurance document click the box or drop the file into the upload box.
Step 3) Choose the site the document corresponds to.
Step 4) Input the information from the document in to the separate fields. If your insurance isn’t available, you can request a new one by phoning us at 0161 327 2755.
Step 5) Press “Save & Publish”.

Uploading Your Certificate Documents

Step 1) From “Licences, Insurances and Certificates” press the “Add certificate” button.
Step 2) To upload the certificate document click the box or drop the file into the upload box.
Step 3) Choose the site the document corresponds to.
Step 4) Input the information from the document in to the separate fields. If your certificate type isn’t available, you can request a new one by phoning us at 0161 327 2755.
Step 5) Press “Save & Publish”.

About Expiry Dates

Dsposal notifies you and the users that follow you about when documents are coming up to expiry. These notifications are sent:

  • 30 days before expiry date
  • 7 days before expiry date
  • Date of expiry

A further notification is sent when a document is updated. These notifications are sent through the “Trash Talk” system.
